Summer nights

I enjoyed my first movie in the park, and had so much fun. It was a perfect summer night. My friend and I headed to Whole Foods to pick up some dinner & snacks before heading to the park. We sat on our towels, watched the movie, and took in the beautiful summer weather. There was even a cool breeze in the air!

I hope you are all enjoying these wonderful summer nights. And if you live someplace where it gets cold like I do, be sure to take it in while you can!

  1. Oh man, I adore Pretty in Pink! How did I miss they were playing that one?! I really need to pay more attention to what's happening in the city.

  2. Love these kinds of events! We have "Pics on the Promenade" here in Lakeland in the Fall and Spring. First one is in October and I can't wait! The lodge that I belong to is actually hosting it and we're in the process of picking the movie. (We're coupling it with a Fall Carnival for kids to raise money for the Central Florida Autism Institute, so we're doing fantasy/Halloween type kid's movie.) It's a great way to bring a community together!

    (Side note: my husband actually proposed to me after one of the "Pics" events, so they are even more special to me!)
